Rosters, Waivers and fees can be submitted at the meeting. There is also a medical form available on the Resources page that should be filled out by every player and brought with the coach/captain to every game.

Also, to be eligible for Division 1 States you must have a UPA certified coach. If you have any questions, please email me.

Update 1/25/2010

PHUEL will once again be bringing a UPA Certification Clinic to the Philadelphia Area!

This clinic will occur at Cardinal O'Hara High School (1701 S Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19122) on February 20th, starting at 8 AM and ending about 3 PM. This clinic will give you a Level 1 UPA Coaching Certification. If you are a coach, or if you would like to be a coach, you need to be certified.

Beginning THIS YEAR, teams without certified coaches will be restricted from playing in the Division 1 State Championship Tournament. If you are a competitive team, with hopes of going to States, you must have your coach attend this clinic. Only one coach on the staff needs to be certified to qualify your team, however, that coach must attend the tournament with your team.

The Clinic covers vital information about Spirit, ethics, training, and some legal aspects that affect all teams and coaches. The costs are as follows:
UPA Coaching Ethics Workshop: $45 + UPA Membership (Morning Session)
UPA Coaching Ethics & Performance Workshops: $75 + UPA Membership (All Day Session)

Players may attend the morning session, but will be asked to leave before the afternoon session starts. Coaches must be 21 years old to become certified.

You can signup and find more information at http://upa.org/coaches/clinics/signup

If you need more information, please contact me.
